Like museums? Have a minute? Well have I got a blog for you! …mine.
I’m a museum professional (collections manager / curator / archivist / exhibit content developer) who gets to see some pretty neat things during the course of my job (and during my extracurricular museum-visiting). I wanted to find a place to document all of my “cool finds” and share them, but I didn’t want to commit to a big, serious, blog. I’ve said in the past that I’m not a blogger, but my desire to share the “cool stuff” has led me to try it. So, stay tuned for minute-long posts that are jam-packed with entertaining and compelling content.
…at least, that’s my goal.
I read online that the average person reads somewhere around 200-250 words per minute. And, I figure that’s the perfect amount of words needed to describe an interesting tidbit or two about the artifacts, exhibits, and institutions with which I work, as well as the neat-o museum-y things I see as an average visitor here and there.
